Dr. Jayanti S. Ravi has been posted as the Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue Department, Gujarat said a notification from the Personnel Division, General Administration Dept, Govt. of Gujarat, Gandhi Nagar dated today the 31st of July 2024.

Dr. Jayanti S. Ravi was appointed as Secretary, Auroville Foundation for 3 years and took charge on 5th July 2021. A week before her tenure was due to end, on 28th June 2024, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet consisting of PM Modi as the Ex-Officio Chairman and Home Minister Amit Shah as the only member promoted seven officers of the IAS including Dr. Jayanti S. Ravi for the highest grade of the bureaucracy the 'Secretary/Secretary Equiv.' at the Centre. The officers empanelled to the grade are also, alternatively, eligible for Chief Secretary/Additional Chief Secretary posts in state governments.
